What are DVT, EVT, PVT, and MP?

1. EVT: Engineering Verification Test The EVT stage is mainly dedicated to verifying the basic functions of the product design to ensure that it can operate strictly in accordance with the established expectations.

2. DVT: Design Verification Test The DVT stage focuses on in-depth verification of every detail of the product design to ensure that it can maintain normal operation under a wider range of and diverse usage environments and conditions. This stage covers multiple aspects such as functional testing, stability testing, and thermal performance testing, aiming to comprehensively evaluate the performance and reliability of the product. Through the rigorous inspection of the DVT stage, the product design should achieve a high degree of maturity and stability, laying a solid foundation for subsequent production and market launch.

3. PVT: Production Verification Test The PVT stage focuses on evaluating the manufacturability and product consistency of the product in a mass production environment. This stage usually carries out small-scale trial production activities to carefully test the effectiveness of the production process, production equipment, and quality control system, so as to ensure that products that meet quality standards can be smoothly and stably mass-produced. This process is crucial to ensure a smooth transition of products from R&D to mass production.

4. MP: Mass Production
