The daily rules behind reliable reports
Policies about ethics are important, but most inspection quality is decided by daily field discipline: arriving on time, checking in truthfully, staying the required hours, and keeping the client's information confidential. Our Inspector Work Code of Practice is the rulebook for that discipline.
Before the inspection
Inspectors must prepare thoroughly: download and study the order and client requirements, confirm the factory's readiness the day before, and arrive with the correct tools. Orders that cannot be fulfilled must be returned before the deadline — late cancellations are penalised.
During the inspection
Key field rules include:
- Truthful check-in — start/end check-in on the inspector's own device; proxy or virtual-location check-in is treated as fraud;
- Minimum work hours — short inspections without advance notice lose the inspection fee;
- Signed integrity statement — read to the factory and signed at every visit;
- On-site draft report — completed, communicated and signed before leaving;
- Confidentiality — no order information may leak to the factory or any third party;
- Fair behaviour — no false statements, no emotional double standards, no gifts, no side business introductions.
After the inspection
The final report must be truthful, accurate and complete. Every order receives a factory follow-up call, and our records capture the factory's feedback. If an inspector's conduct causes a client complaint or claim, liability is clear — including shared compensation in serious cases.
