A promise that protects your goods

When you appoint a third-party inspection company, you are buying one thing above all: an honest, independent judgment about whether your goods meet your requirements. If an inspector can be influenced — by a gift, a favour, or a quiet arrangement with the factory — the entire report becomes worthless.

That is why QCANT publishes a written Inspector Code of Conduct and requires every inspector and every employee to comply with it on every single assignment.

What our Code of Conduct prohibits

The policy is deliberately simple and strict. Our staff are prohibited from:

  • Accepting any bribery, gift, entertainment, kickback or commission from the inspected organisation — including gift cards, cash or securities;
  • Borrowing vehicles or valuables from factories, or having personal expenses reimbursed;
  • Seeking illegitimate benefits for themselves, relatives or friends through work targets;
  • Adding fees or raising charging standards beyond the agreed contract;
  • Abusing discretion to raise or lower inspection standards, or treating a service party unfairly;
  • Selling their own products or items to the inspected party.

What we ask from factories and clients

We also make a simple request to our partners: please do not offer any personal benefit to our staff beyond the contract. A polite 'no' protects everyone — it protects our independence, and it protects your own reputation as a fair business partner.

Every report is investigated seriously, and confirmed violations are handled strictly — including account freezing, loss of order income and, in serious cases, legal action.
