Common Defects We Find in Garden & Outdoor Products
- Structure & strength: frame weld failure, chair load test below spec, tent pole cracking, insufficient wind resistance.
- Weather & corrosion: rust on frames after humidity, UV fading of fabrics/plastics, water ingress in sealed housings, zinc plating peeling.
- Electrical (lighting): IP rating not met, wire gauge below UL 588 spec, overheating connections, missing UL marks.
- Packaging: oversized cartons with poor fill ratio, missing corner protection, no assembly manual, wrong carton marks.

Beyond AQL sampling, garden/outdoor inspection includes structural load tests (typically 1–3 units per model), salt-spray sample preparation, IP/electrical checks per your checklist, and container loading supervision with waterproofing verification.
