An inspection day, step by step

Clients often ask: what exactly happens during an inspection? The short answer is that our Consumer Goods Inspection Procedure turns every factory visit into a repeatable, evidence-based process. Here is how it works.

1. Preparation

Before departure, the inspector downloads and studies the order details and technical documents, confirms the inspection requirements, and contacts the factory to confirm the goods are ready. Tools are checked — including our own defect labels, tape, hygrometer, batteries and measuring equipment.

2. Check-in and opening meeting

The inspector arrives on time, checks in through our app with location verification, and holds an opening meeting with the factory: the integrity statement is read and signed, and the client's requirements, sample quantity and factory support are clearly explained.

3. Counting, sampling and photography

Cartons are counted against the order and packing list, the warehouse is photographed, and cartons are sampled randomly (square-root rule, MIL-STD-105E / ISO 2859-1 AQL sampling). Products are drawn under supervision and never leave the inspector's sight. The photo sequence runs from warehouse panorama to carton markings, packaging, product details and on-site testing.

4. Inspection and testing

Appearance is checked at arm's length under good lighting; functions are tested on all samples; defects are tagged and classified as Critical, Major or Minor. On-site tests follow the technical protocol supplied by our supervisors.

5. Closing and reporting

Results are communicated to the factory clearly and fairly, the draft report is signed, and the final report — with photos and evidence — is submitted the same day for review.
